Frequently Asked Questions

  • We offer individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Our approach includes a blend of ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), tailored to your unique needs. We also offer specialty support for eating concerns, anxiety, health psychology, and life transitions.

  • Therapy can be helpful at any stage—whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply want support for personal growth. The first session is a chance to explore your goals and see if our approach feels like a good fit.

  • The first session focuses on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and establishing therapy goals. We will discuss your history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. This session also allows you to ask any questions about the process.

  • Frequency depends on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions, then adjust based on progress and life circumstances. We work collaboratively to determine a schedule that supports your growth.

  • We accept certain insurance plans. Please contact our office or check your provider to confirm coverage. We also offer self-pay options, with clear fee structures and receipts for insurance reimbursement.

  • You can schedule through our online booking system,or via email at nourishandbloompsychological@gmail.com. If you’re a new client, we recommend scheduling a free of charge initial 15 minute consultation to discuss your needs and goals.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients and avoid unnecessary fees. One late cancellation will incur no cost; subsequent late cancellations will incur full session fee.

  • Yes. Sessions are confidential and protected by HIPAA regulations. Any disclosures are shared only with your consent or as required by law (e.g., safety concerns).

  • The length of therapy varies. Some clients achieve their goals in a few months, while others benefit from ongoing support over longer periods. Progress is individualized and guided by your personal goals.
